About Us
The Crest Hill Pony Baseball league is PONY (Protect Our Nations Youth) affiliated located in Crest Hill, IL. The league has the following divisions of youth baseball.
-
Shetland - 5 & 6 year olds
-
Pinto - 7 & 8 year olds
-
Mustang - 9 & 10 year olds
-
Bronco - 11 & 12 year olds
-
Pony - 13 & 14 year olds
Our objective is to teach baseball to the youth of our community keeping in mind the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and courage.

Coaches' Code of Ethics
Coaches will adhere to all the
rules of the division in which their team is
participating regarding ethics,
sportsmanship, and team play.
- Be positive with children.
- Play the game for the game's sake.
- Be generous when you win.
- Be gracious when you lose.
- Comply with the rules of the game.
- Coach for the good of the team.
- Accept the decisions of the umpires
with good grace.
- Playing time should be distributed in
an unbiased and fair manner.
- Inappropriate language, gestures, and
fighting are not part of baseball.
- Remember, that all coaches, as well as
athletes, represent our town and Crest
Hill Pony Baseball.

Parent's Code of Ethics
Parents will adhere to all rules of the
division in which their child is
participating regarding ethics,
sportsmanship, and team play.
- Parents should allow the children to
play the game and coaches coach without
interfering.
- Do not live your life through your
child. Crest Hill Pony Baseball is
for the players.
- Cheer positively. Your child's
teammates and opponents are young
amateurs, NOT professionals. Treat
them accordingly.
- Encourage your child to work hard and
do their best.
- Do not belittle coaches or other
players; teach your child to abide
by their coaches' decisions.
- Encourage athletes to follow rules on
and off the field.
- Help youngsters to improve their
self-image by believing in themselves.
- Remember that all parents, as well as
athletes, represent our town and Crest
Hill Pony Baseball.
- Abide by the umpire's ruling just as
the players are taught.
- Inappropriate language, gestures, and
fighting are not part of baseball.
